Anaxagoras, born about 500 BC, is the first person who is definitely known to have explained the concept of a nous (mind), which arranged all other things in the cosmos in their proper order, started them in a rotating motion, and continuing to control them to some extent, having an especially strong connection with living things.
John tells us that "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." I began to wonder about what Paul wrote in Romans 1, that all creation is a revelation and evidence of God's existence.

Thus the NOUS began to speak to me deeply. There is one God and He is the LOGOS and the NOUS. By Him all things are sustained and all things were made and to live in that truth is to live rightly.

As 1 Corinthians 2:16 says, For who has known the mind of the LORD that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
